The 9 & 10 age groups will have no more than twelve (12) players on roster per each team, and a minimum of 6 players for each team. The game will be 7v7 format on the field.  Each team will have their own got soccer team account, and roster of players.

There will be one (1) center referee, assigned by the club not USA. There will be NO linesmen. Offside WILL BE CALLED.

Length of Game. 2 x 25 mins

Number of players:  7v7 which includes a goal keeper.

No Heading

Indirect free kick from spot of header, unless header is in (6 yd box), in which case the ball will be put on the 6 yd box, close to where the ball was headed.

The Field of Play:

Dimensions: The field of play must be rectangular. The length of the touchline must be

greater than the length of the goal line.

Length: minimum 45 yards maximum 60 yards

Width: minimum 35 yards maximum 45 yards

Goals: the goal, 6ft x 18ft, is the same for the 10 and 12 age group.

Build Out Line.

The build out line will be equi distant between the top of penalty area and midfield line

and stretch across the entire width of the playing area.

When either goal kick or prior to distribution by goal keeper, the attacking team will “retreat”

To their side of the build out line, to allow defensive team to build the play out.

Goal keepers are not allowed to Punt or drop kick the ball.

Offensive team will be allowed to enter the area beyond the build out line, once ball is distributed by goal keeper, or once ball has crossed the penalty box from a goal kick.

The penalty for goal keeper punting or drop kicking the ball is an Indirect free kick from outside the penalty box. (indirect free kick from one yard outside the penalty area close to the point where the infraction occurred”)

The penalty for encroachment by attacking player is an indirect free kick from the spot of encroachment.

If goal keeper, chooses to put the ball into play, prior to attacking team retreating back behind

the build out line, there is no off side, or encroachment. Goal Keeper putting ball into play

before attackers retreat, does so at his own risk.

Offside will be called —The “build out” line drawn on the field on both halves of the field  (Drawn equidistant between top of “18” yd box and midfield line will also act as an offside line)

There are no off sides between midfield and build out line.

Normal off side rules apply if there is a defender and GK in that defensive 3rd.

If last defender is in a position where the build out line is behind him, then ball must cross the build out line before an attacker can enter the attacking 3rd.(essentially the build out line is like midfield line)
