United Soccer Association is proud to announce its first College Soccer Seminar on Sunday, November 12th at the Sports, Leadership and Management (SLAM) Charter School in Tampa. The seminar is a FREE event for 15u through 19u Boys & Girls USA League players and their parents.
Many believe soccer players are actively recruited and offered “full-ride” scholarships by college coaches. The reality is that only about 2% of players are actively recruited by college coaches leaving the remaining to recruit themselves.
In an effort to educate players and parents about athletic scholarships and the college recruiting process, we have contracted renowned college recruiting expert Renee Lopez, author of “Looking For A Full Ride?” to conduct a series of seminars entitled “The College Recruiting Process and How to Become a College Student-Athlete.”
“We are pleased to work with someone as experienced and knowledgeable as, Renee Lopez. This seminar will help players & parents to be more educated and realistic about athletic scholarships and the recruiting process. We want our players to work hard and follow their dreams, but it’s also important to us that they know the truth about the process.” Says USA League President, Paul Van Steenbergen
