One Registration. More Opportunities. Every Athlete.
The launch of the TOPSoccer Division represents a significant milestone in the league’s ongoing mission to ensure that soccer is accessible to players of all abilities. Through one registration, families will have access to TOPSoccer events and programming across participating league locations, creating more opportunities for athletes to play, build friendships, and become active members of the soccer community.
“The USA League TOPSoccer Division is an exciting step forward for athletes and families across our soccer community,” said Jennifer DiTillio, FYSA TOPSoccer Chair. “With one registration, players will have more opportunities to participate at locations throughout the league, connect with others, and experience the joy of the game in an inclusive environment. This is exactly what TOPSoccer is about, making sure every athlete has a place to play, belong, and be celebrated.”
The initiative reflects the league’s belief that every child deserves the opportunity to experience the joy, camaraderie, and lifelong benefits of soccer, regardless of physical, intellectual, or developmental challenges.
“We are extremely proud to create a TOPSoccer Division and help support this incredible program as part of our continued effort to be an inclusive league that is open to all,” said Kai Velmer, Executive Director of the USA League. “This division is about creating meaningful opportunities for athletes and families throughout our communities. We are committed to doing our part to help grow this special program and ensure that every player has a place to belong.”
The announcement has also been welcomed by the league’s professional partner, the Tampa Bay Rowdies, who have long supported TOPSoccer initiatives throughout the region.
“The Tampa Bay Rowdies have always been strong supporters of TOPSoccer, and we are excited to see the USA League launch this important division,” said Ryan Helfrick, President of the Tampa Bay Rowdies. “One of the reasons we partnered with the USA League is because of its commitment to inclusion and making a positive impact in the community. The leadership and dedication demonstrated by Jennifer DiTillio and Kai Velmer have helped strengthen opportunities for athletes of all abilities, and we look forward to supporting the continued growth of TOPSoccer across the league.”
Additional details regarding the USA League TOPSoccer Division, including registration information, event locations, and program structure, will be announced in the coming weeks.
